Players Of The Week
Week 4: June 1st-7th
Hitter: Luciano Merola
Our guy Luc is our 12u Bombers catcher and cleanup hitter, and he does just that. Carrying a tremendous approach to the plate with him every time, he makes himself an extremely difficult out. Just this week, in 2 games between AAU and Little League Merola went 8 for 8 with 4 Home Runs, 13 RBIs, a Double, and 2 Walks!! Displaying a perfect combination of both Power and Barrel control at the plate, Luc is absolutely tearing it up this year! Can't wait to see what the rest of the summer season brings for the stud!!
Pitcher: Teddy Hamblin
Teddy is a 12 year old from Mount Pleasent who plays for the 12u Mass Hurricanes. He is a big pressence on the mound and loves pitching off his power fastball (68 mph). This week on the hill, Teddy pitched a complete game NO HITTER for his little leauge team while also recording a scoreless inning for his Canes squad as well. Congrats Teddy and keep doing your thing!
Week 3: May 25th-31st
Hitter: Chris Bianco
Chris is a talented 8 year old from Johnston! He is currently enrolled in our RBI Bombers Development Program! Chris is a super hard working player and just recently got selected to play for the 9u Johnston All Stars!! This past week Chris had 2 hits of one of the best pitchers in the league!! Recording both a line drive to right, and a single to center, Chris is continuing to learn more about his swing! Chris is one of the most talented young players in our program and has already made huge strides in the past few months! Keep working hard Chris!!
Pitcher: Julian Norton
Julian is a very talented ball player from Johnston, RI. Jules is a tremendous athlete for his age, which allows him have credit versailtiy defensively. On the mound he consistently fills up the strike zone and dares his opponent to hit it. Throughout this week, Norton made a couple appaearenaces for his Astros squad of Johnston Little League, and proved effective making the most of his pitch count. Julian was also just selected for his Johnston Little League 9u All Stars! Congrats to Julian and keep working hard kid!!
Week 2: May 11th-17th
Hitter: Lucas Paulson
Lucas is an 11 year old athlete from North Providence. Lukes been in our program for about 3 years now and has seen drastic imporovments to his game. In his game this weekend Lucas hit his FIRST HOME RUN!! The first home run is something every kid dreams about and Luke was defiently eager to get his out of the way! The entire coaching staff is extremly proud of Lucas, keep working hard kid and thanks for always keeping us on our toes!!!
Pitcher: David Kraft
David Kraft is an 14 year old P/OF from North Providence. Dave has been a part of our Pitching Lesson program regularly for 2 years now and it shows! A crafty pitcher on the bump that loves pumping strikes. David has been extremly effective on the hill. This week, in his last middle school game, David pitched a gem helping his Ricci MS team almost pull of a huge playoff upset. Throwing 5 innings only allowing 1 run, he helped give his team a chance to win! The RBI staff is proud of David and excited for what his High School carer will bring!
Week 1: May 4th-10th
Hitter: Ben Levillee
Our guy Ben is 11 year old player from Cranston West. Between both his little league and RI Rays teams this week Ben racked up 8 Hits, 3 walks and came through with some timely hitting to bring his teams to a 3-0 record. Super Proud of Ben and the adjustments hes made to his swing this season! Huge congrats to Ben and keep working hard kid!
